My Trip to Madrid

This week I went to Madrid for 3 days to get to know the city, it was not a long time but I got to see the most important.
Although it is a fairly large city you can visit the main attractions in a few days, and it is easy to go from one place to another, the subway is very easy to use and quite cheap.

Unfortunately I was not very lucky with the weather, besides being very cold it also rained a lot and on the last day it snowed. The house where I stayed was near to Puerta del Sol, in the center of the city, very close to everything and the conditions of the house were very good.

If you ever go to Madrid, do not forget to try the best Chocolate con Churros in town, in the Chocolateria San Ginés, and if you want to eat well you can also visit 100 Montaditos and La Cueva de 1900.

At Puerta del Sol you can take a walk, see some shops, buy souvenirs and find various tourist spots like Km.0Oso Y El Madroño, Chocolateria San Ginés, Plaza Maior and many other things.

Of course it is worth visiting the Palacio Real de Madrid, I didn’t visited inside because the days were few but outside was very beautiful and the gardens too, although it was not the best time because there were no flowers.

One of the things I liked most was the Templo de Debod, it is one of the few complete Nubian-Egyptian architectural testimonies outside Egypt and the only one of these characteristics existing in Spain. You can visit for free, if you have time read the history of the temple is very interesting.

My favorite part was, undoubtedly, the Parque de El Retiro, it is huge and has several interesting things to see. In addition to all the gardens, various fountains and statues, monuments, among the many things that can be found in the park, it is worth visiting the Palacio de Cristal and La Rosaleda. Once again I was very sad that there were no flowers, the garden was already very beautiful without flowers I can only imagine how it will be all full of roses.

In summary it was a quick trip but in a short time I was able to visit several things. If you want to visit Madrid and have any question just ask.
